Vice President of Asset Development, Metro Community Development

Marcus Rankins is the Vice President of Asset Development for Metro Community Development.  In this role, Marcus is responsible for the organization’s commercial lending program that focuses primarily on microenterprises as well as the organization’s personal finance counseling department – focusing on residential and consumer lending.  He attended the University of Michigan-Flint, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2008.  In 2014, Marcus also received an MBA from Cleary University in Michigan.  He has more than a decade of experience working within banking, as well as years of experience in various operational roles.  Marcus is committed to ensuring underserved markets have the necessary access to resources and information.  Marcus is involved in several community organizations, programs, and initiatives.  He, along with his wife and 2 children, reside in Genesee County.
